China Children and Teenagers' Fund (CCTF) and Adidas Sports (China) Ltd. launched a seven-day, women's athletics and volleyball training camp, on July 30, in Beijing.
More than 70 athletes and coaches, from Hebei, Liaoning, Yunnan and Guizhou provinces, participated. Trainees attended skills-enhancement courses, played friendly matches and visited several museums and historic sites.
In September 2023, Adidas donated 10 million yuan (US $1.47 million) to launch (with CCTF) the Achieving Dream of Future with Infinite Possibilities Project. The project focuses on sports empowerment of girls, care for children facing difficulties, vocational skills training and children's exchanges and social practices.
The project has helped 11 women's sport teams, from seven provinces and autonomous regions, improve training conditions, and it has funded education of 1,509 children.
