A campaign, aimed at providing whole-cycle family development services, was launched in Ningbo, a city in East China's Zhejiang Province, on June 9.
The first set of standardized family education courses was released. An initiative, to train family education counselors, was also introduced, and the recruitment of the first group of trainees began.
Ningbo Women's Federation and four municipal government departments issued a three-year (2026-2028) plan for implementing the campaign. Five initiatives, involving marriage, childbirth, child raising and family education, have been implemented.
A framework and a whole-cycle family service system will be established. The framework will involve coordinated work of various departments and participation of social forces.
