An activity, under the "Healthy China — Mother's Action" campaign, was held in Tanmen, a town in Qionghai, a city in South China's Hainan Province, on December 9, 2025.
Since 2022, when the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), the National Health Commission and the General Administration of Sport launched the campaign, health promotion and education activities, and relevant services, have been organized nationwide.
Organizers' objective is to encourage women to play a role in guiding, managing and supervising family health. Organizers also intend to promote implementation of the Healthy China Initiative through the campaign.
The activities' attendance reached 1.5 billion, both online and offline. The campaign has provided financial assistance to 172,700 low-income women diagnosed with breast and/or cervical cancer.
More than 300 people, including medical experts, executive members of grassroots women's federations, and representatives of "Caring Mothers" and children receiving paired-up assistance, attended the activity in Hainan.
They participated in health-themed running, free medical checkups, mental health counseling, and a display of taijiquan (a form of Chinese martial arts).
In 2025, ACWF organized 63 similar activities in 16 counties of seven provincial regions, including Guizhou Province and Xinjiang Uygur and Inner Mongolia autonomous regions.
