China Women's Chamber of Commerce (CWCC) held a study session, in Beijing, on May 25. The event also marked the 30th anniversary of CWCC's establishment.
Wang Hongyan, Vice-President of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, attended.
She suggested women entrepreneurs should continue advancing the spirit of “women are no less than men,” take on responsibilities in advancing Chinese modernization, practice the rule of law, make innovations and demonstrate their entrepreneurial spirit in stabilizing employment and promoting common prosperity. Such efforts, she added, will ensure women contribute to the high-quality development of the private sector.
Zhang Ronghua, President of CWCC, said CWCC has kept pace with the times during the past 30 years. Now, CWCC is marching toward a new journey in the prime of its youth, she added. The CWCC will continue to unite and lead women entrepreneurs in promoting China's development, through industry development, and in giving back to society.
During the roundtable discussion, some leaders from CWCC and representatives of CWCC's Young Entrepreneurs Committee shared their stories and discussed various topics, including Her Strength in High-Quality Development.
