China Cuisine Association (CCA) hosted an exchange meeting, for women entrepreneurs in the catering industry, in Beijing, on March 6. The event's purpose was to unite women in the catering industry, promote industry exchanges and cooperation, and advance high-quality development of the catering sector.
Yang Liu, President of CCA, noted CCA's Women's Committee was approved as the 20th group member of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) in December 2024. The committee has thus provided a "home" for 14 million women catering practitioners nationwide.
In the future, the association will become more innovative when organizing activities that promote high-quality industry development, to ensure it provides a broad stage for women entrepreneurs to exchange, cooperate and realize their value, and to contribute their strength to advancing Chinese modernization.
During the event, women entrepreneurs shared their entrepreneurial experiences and innovative-development philosophies, and exchanged views on women's unique advantages in innovating the catering sector, building brands and managing enterprises. The women also analyzed current trends in the catering industry.
Many of the women said the event inspired them to seize opportunities and overcome challenges in their efforts to achieve the sustainable development of their enterprises.
