Tianjin Hedong Women's Federation, with Tianjin Women and Children's Social Service Center, hosted a symposium for women entrepreneurs, to share their gains from studying the Private Sector Promotion Law of the People's Republic of China.
The event was held at Hebei Dingzhou Chamber of Commerce, in North China's Tianjin Municipality, on May 23. It was attended by 42 outstanding women entrepreneurs.
During the symposium, officials from the federation and the service center stated they intended to leverage the role of women's federations as a bridge, build platforms for government-enterprise communications and exchanges among enterprises, and contribute to the development of the private sector in Hedong (a district in Tianjin).
Many of the women entrepreneurs shared information about their enterprises, and they also pledged to engage in the work of women's federations and participate in public-welfare projects, to demonstrate women's strength in promoting the district's economic and social development.
