An activity, to promote in-depth integration of the digital economy and women's development, was held recently in Fuzhou, capital of Southeast China's Fujian Province.
Fujian Women's Federation, the Cyberspace Affairs Office of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and three other organizations sponsored the activity.
Five innovative products/ projects, each of which focused on women's development, were displayed during the activity. Among them, the Fuzhou Women's Community School on Artificial Intelligence (AI) offers courses on the application of AI tools. The "DeepSeek Village Head" service platform provides consultations to rural women.
The "Every Village Has Women Live Streamers" initiative was also launched. Women's e-commerce bases, MCN (multichannel network) agencies and leading live streamers in rural areas will form a group of tutors, to train rural women in digital technologies and entrepreneurial skills, especially applicable to the e-commerce sector.
