Lucheng Women's Federation adopts effective measures to improve family mediation service. [For Women of China]

To promote social justice and harmony within families, Lucheng (a district in Wenzhou, a city in East China's Zhejiang Province) Women's Federation during the past few years has adopted effective measures to improve family mediation service. For example, the federation in 2020 established a family mediation studio to help residents resolve family disputes. In addition to providing legal services to residents, the studio offers psychological counseling, to help them stay psychologically healthy.

During the past few years, the federation's workers have made tremendous efforts to help residents resolve disputes within families, in part to promote social harmony and stability. In 2020, the federation handled a combined 1,138 cases (involving family disputes), among which 1,046 were solved by family mediation organizations, at the grass-roots level, in Lucheng.
