To help families create a safe and healthy atmosphere, Jilin Women's Federation is providing special family education guidance, through family education service agencies, parents' schools and the WeChat accounts of women's federations, at all levels. The federation is also sharing information on how to prevent COVID-19, and is operating a hotline to provide psychological counseling to families.

Based on the public legal-service platforms of the judicial and administrative departments of Jilin Province, in Northeast China, the provincial women's federation has, since 2018, operated a platform that involves both offline and online and hotline services for women and children. It has offered legal services 13,000 times.

The public legal-service system for women and children in Jilin has facilitated efforts to protect women and children's rights. The system makes it possible for women to have access to convenient legal services, even when they stay at home for epidemic prevention and control reasons.
