To strengthen its role in social governance, the Women's Federation of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (in North China) recently implemented the 2020 "Dandelion" Women and Children's Rights-protection Program.
The federation in 2017 launched the program, to help women and children mediate family disputes, and to provide legal, psychological and other services to women and children. The program has been well received among families (in the region).
During the past four years, the federation has implemented 144 projects under the program. The federation has also incubated 70 social organizations and 25 community organizations in the region. Women's federations, at all levels in the region, have not only innovated — by implementing the projects — the ways to provide rights-protection services to women and children, but they have also improved their cooperation with social organizations, so they can better help women and children protect their legal rights and interests.
