    Wu Yajun Sets A New Record in Real Estate

     

    Wu Yajun, the general director of Chongqing Longhu Real Estate Development Co. Ltd., sets a new record in Shanghai: The price of real estate in the suburb breaks through 10,000 yuan per square meter.

    Wu Yajun is listed the 81st in Hurun Fortune with eight billion yuan. She is predicted to become the richest women in the mainland overtaking Yang Huiyan, provided her company enters the Hong Kong stock market. 

    Actually, Wu Yajun's story could be legendary. Born in Chongqing in 1964, she had worked as an engineer, a reporter, an editor and so on after graduation from Northwest Industry University. In 1993, Wu Yajun set up Chongqing Jiacheng Economy Development Co. Ltd., and two years later, she founded Chongqing Zhongjianke Real Estate Co. Ltd. with the enrollment capital of 10 million yuan. Soon after, the company's name was changed to Chongqing Longhu Real Estate Development Co. Ltd..

    With the first project in 1995, the company developed quickly and became an important real estate company. At the beginning of the company, Wu Yajun foretold that it would be the best in the real estate market in Chongqing five years later, and 10 years later, it would become one of the best in the country.

    In 2000, Wu Yajun began to exploit brands series of Longhu. Till 2005, the sale of Longhu had reached 2.12 billion yuan. In 2006, Wu Yajun tried to expand her business in the country. As it is expected, only if the company goes to the Hong Kong stock market successfully, Wu Yajun's fortune would reach 70 billion yuan overtaking the current richest women Yang Huiyan.
