A family story-sharing activity was held by the Work Committee for Central Party and Government Departments under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) in Beijing on September 29.

The activity aimed to guide Party members from Central Party and government departments to remain loyal to the Party and faithful to the people, and learn from good family traditions of revolutionaries and role models.

Shen Yueyue, Vice-Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and President of the ACWF, attended the activity.

Shen pointed out that the touching stories related to good family traditions reflect the great spirit of the revolutionaries. She urged implementing the spirit of the important speech delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, upholding the great founding spirit of the Party, inheriting revolutionary traditions and promoting good family traditions of the revolutionaries.

Shen, together with other participating leaders, presented books on General Secretary Xi's instructions on family, family education and family traditions to family representatives from Central Party and government departments. The representatives issued an initiative calling on families to focus on the building of family, family education and family traditions and to strive to be examples of cultivating and inheriting good family traditions.
