The world has been fighting the COVID-19 pandemic for nearly three years.

China, the most populous country in the world, encountered its hardest major public health emergency since the founding of New China in 1949.

A war of 1.4 billion people was declared to fight the virus.

And commanding the war is President Xi Jinping.
