CWU Faculty, Students Learn About Xi's Important Instructions on Education

Wang Lian, Vice-President of China Women's University & ACWF Executive Leadership Academy (CWU) gave a lesson on explaining General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions on education on April 29, 2021.

Wang explained General Secretary Xi's instructions on education work in the new era, by reviewing important meetings and documents of educational reform since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in 2012, stressing that the goal of China's higher education is to cultivate talent for the Party and the country, and more efforts should be made in ideological and political education.

Teachers from the Institute of Ideological and Political Education and the School of Education established a team, to promote General Secretary Xi's instructions on education and improve teaching quality of ideological and political courses.

Li Yunxia, a member of the team, said that General Secretary Xi's instructions on education answer three fundamental questions: what kind of people to cultivate, how to cultivate people, and for whom to cultivate people, illuminating the way forward for university educators.

Teachers and students of the CWU attend the class.
