ACWF, China Media Group and Ministry of Education Co-Host Job Fair for Women College Students at CWU

A job fair for women college graduates was launched by the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), China Media Group (CMG) and the Ministry of Education at China Women's University (CWU) on March 8 to commemorate International Women's Day.

Huang Xiaowei, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Vice-President and First Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF, delivered a speech at the ceremony.

According to its organizers, the job fair aimed to invite candidate firms to set up exhibition booths explaining their corporate culture on campus, offer women college graduates targeted employment information, create good jobs for women college graduates and help them achieve their life's potential.

Meanwhile, outstanding businesswomen and women scientists were invited to share their stories, and provide women college graduates with professional guidance on employment.

A number of domestic enterprises attended the first leg of the job fair at the CWU.

In addition, job seekers can also log on to the Yangshipin app, a new media platform developed and operated by the CMG, for more online services.

On behalf of Shen Yueyue, Vice-Chairperson of the NPC Standing Committee and President of the ACWF, Huang extended greetings to all women college students on International Women's Day.

Huang said that women's federations at all levels will always support women college students, and strengthen cooperation with their group members on employment guidance, the exploration of employment opportunities and collaboration between universities and firms, providing women college students with high-quality service on the labor market.
