The China Women's University (CWU) has taken an active part in encouraging students' volunteering spirit, and promoting the recruitment of personnel for the school's talent pool of volunteers for the Beijing 2022 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

In December 2020, the Youth League Committee of the CWU issued a notice to students in the classes of 2018, 2019 and 2020 on supplementary recruitment of the volunteers for Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. It has aroused extensive interest and positive response from the students. Nearly 1,000 CWU students applied.

In January 2021, a panel of judges, composed of faculty staff of the CWU, made an overall assessment of the applicants' volunteering experience, communication skills, proficiency in foreign languages, and ability to deal with foreign and common affairs, as well as manners. About 130 volunteer candidates finally stood out and entered into the school's talent pool of volunteers.
