Tsinghua Uni Delegation Visits CWU

A three-person delegation from the Institute for Sustainable Development Goals at Tsinghua University (TUSDG) visited China Women's University (CWU) on September 21.

The delegation was headed by Chen Wei, a member of the Board of Directors of TUSDG.

Speaking with the visitors, CWU President Liu Liqun extended a warm welcome and expressed appreciation to Chen and his wife for their consistent attention and support for the development of women-oriented higher education.

Later, Liu briefed them on the university's development and conveyed her wishes to strengthen cooperation in different fields.

Chen praised the university's achievements and emphasized that in future the two sides can build a closer partnership in the implementation of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, the organization of the International Women's University Presidents' Forum, the construction of Yuhui Academy, and the management of the university's Education Fund.

After the meeting, the delegates toured the university's historical hall and other places.

Those present at the gathering also included Wang Lian, vice-president of CWU; and staff from the Academic Affairs Office, Student Affairs Office, General Office and the Office of Finance.
