CWU Holds 15th 'A Date With a President' Talk

On December 29, the 15th event in the series of talks titled "Listening to Your Heart, Talking about Growth—Date with President" was held at Shuiyu café in Beijing. Wang Jingxia, vice-president of China Women's University (CWU), took part in the event, leading a conversation with 10 students from different schools and departments.

In more than an hour of discussion, Wang outlined several topics that attracted the students attention, including interpersonal relationships, career planning, life goals, the relation between study and social practice, and canteen hygiene and food safety.

According to her own experiences, Wang pointed out that students should establish the correct outlook on life, recognize the importance of regulating mutual relationships between the individual and society, be strict with themselves, and be broad-minded towards others. She hoped that students could establish their life goals and make their development orientation clear, read more, practice more, and strive to improve their comprehensive qualities and abilities. Students also shared their opinions and suggestions on the university's logistic work.

At the end of the activity, Wang wished the students a happy New Year, and hoped that they could keep their feet on the ground and make unremitting efforts to realize the value of life.
