 November 1, 2015

On October 27, China Women's University (CWU) held the sixth "Youth Marxist Project" advanced training course at the 7th meeting room.

Zhang Ruizhi, Secretary of the CWU Youth League Committee, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. Attendees also included secretaries of the Youth League General Branch from different departments and schools, and all the trainees. The director of the Youth League Committee Office presided over the event.

Zhang affirmed the achievements of the training course. In order to carry out the spirit of the Center Mass Organizations Working Conference, and the spirits of CPC Central Committee's and State Council's "Opinion on Further Strengthening and Improving Ideological and Political Education of College Students", CWU carefully designed the curriculums according to trainees' growth needs and position requirements, Zhang said.

The event aimed to improve student cadres' comprehensive qualities and service abilities. During the sessions, trainees had observed discipline, obeyed the arrangements, listened carefully in class, and deeply communicated with each other. They also strengthened their convictions, and fulfilled the aims of training, Zhang added.

Zhang also hoped that the trainees could further enhance the quality of their theory knowledge, improve their work ability, strengthen solidarity and collaboration, enhance service awareness, and lead other students to realize the "Chinese dream" and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

During five days of training, Ma Limin, secretary of the Youth League Committee of the Beijing University of Technology, as well as teachers from School of Chinese International Education, Computer Science and Technology College, Student Affairs Office gave several lectures. On the subjects of how to be a qualified student cadre, document writing, video editing and communication skills, the teachers carried out quality training, computer practice, and group discussions.

Student cadres' comprehensive quality and work abilities were efficiently improved through the combination of education, training and practice. At the graduation ceremony, Zhang and other secretaries awarded attendees with course completion certificates and took photos.
