CWU Launches 4th Conference of Student Leaders from Beijing Higher Institutes

The Fourth Conference of Student Leaders from Beijing Higher Institutes was held in China Women's University (CWU) on October 18. Representatives from Beijing Student Union and 40 student leaders from Peking, Renmin University of China and other Beijing-based universities were invited to attend the communication conference.

Chen Chaozhe, executive president of Beijing Student Union delivered a speech at the event. Chen believed that the four years of consecutive exchange conferences held in CWU have established a platform for communication among universities. Chen also said that he expected participants to learn from each other and make cooperation via the conference. CWU student leader Shan Mingjun made a brief introduction to the work done by its students. Student leaders from the University of Science and Technology Beijing, University of International Business and Economics, Minzu University of China, Capital University of Economics and Business and Capital Normal University shared their experiences on arranging activities, cultivating student leaders and other aspects.

The conference not only strengthened the connections among students in the universities, but also promoted the development of the CWU student union at the same time. Following the opportunity, the student union will draw upits ideasand raise its service levels with new innovations so as to continue to play its key role for students, teachers and the university.
