CWU Holds Exchange Event with Pavia Uni Students

 October 17, 2015

On October 14, students from China Women's University (CWU) and Italy Pavia's University held exchange activities in Shuiyu café in CWU.

Students discussed their differences in campus culture, learning style, campus life, extracurricular activities, internships and employment goals. According to their own experiences of international exchange, they illustrated their intuitive understanding on China-EU cultural differences. The cultural communication gave students a feeling of cross-continent charm.

CWU's Mofeng Calligraphy and Hanfu Association gave excellent performances of a traditional stringed-instrument, painting, and Hanfu clothing. Students from Pavia dressed in Hanfu gear, and learned calligraphy. They were wowed by the Chinese ethnic clothing and artistic culture.

The exchange was one of the activities of the Second International University Presidents' Forum. It helps to promote cooperation with Pavia University, strengthen friendships, broaden students' horizons, and deepen students' understanding on western culture.

In the future, CWU will continue to provide international exchange platforms, develop students' abilities in communication, and make great efforts to promote CWU's internationalization.
