The Liaoning Women's Federation and the province's Anti-Drug Office jointly organized a publicity campaign on June 22 in Shenbei New District, Shenyang City, Northeast China's Liaoning Province, to mark the 33rd International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, which falls on June 26 every year.
The campaign themed "A Life Without Drugs, A Safe Liaoning," was aimed at giving full play to the advantages of the women's federation, mobilizing more women and family members to participate in the anti-drug battle, creating green and healthy lives, and continuously enhancing the public awareness and people's capability to resist drugs.
The federation considers anti-drug publicity as an important part of legal education. In recent years, the women's federations at all levels in Liaoning Province have focused on the unique role of women in family and social life, and stepped up efforts in mobilizing and guiding women and families to take part in the fight against drug, and creating a safe living environment.
