As of midnight on Thursday, a total of 64,111 novel coronavirus patients have recovered on the Chinese mainland. Behind it are the great efforts made by medical workers. Let's have a look at heart-warming moments of them.

Wuhan Children's Hospital is a designated hospital for children with novel coronavirus.

Huanhuan (alias), a one-year-and-nine-month-old boy, was diagnosed with the novel coronavirus and was admitted to the hospital.

His father was also diagnosed with the disease, and his mother and twin sister were under quarantine at the hotel, so none of his family could take care of him.

Zeng Feifei, a medical worker at the hospital who volunteered to join the fight against the virus, took on the responsibility of taking care of Huanhuan.

Zeng was a mother herself. She sent her 3-year-old child to her hometown in Hunan province so she could stay in the hospital by herself.

Thanks to Zeng's love and care, Huanhuan gradually adapted to the environment in the hospital.

Lu Rong, a doctor who works at the intensive care unit, took off her mask before the camera and smiled.

She and her brother are both working on the front line to fight the virus. Lu's mother worries greatly for her children, and Lu calls her "the greatest mother in the world".

Location: Huoshenshan Hospital

Patients wanted to see the faces of the medical staff who have taken care of them day and night.

To fulfill their wish, doctors and nurses printed their photos and names and stuck the paper on their chests.

Patients used their smartphones to keep a picture of their saviors.

A Special Wedding

Yu Jinghai and Zhou Lingyi — who both work as nurses at the intensive care unit in Leishenshan Hospital in Wuhan — got a big surprise on February 28 after they finished their work at 5 pm.

Yu, the 25-year-old groom, and Zhou, the 24-year-old bride, work for the Renji Hospital in Shanghai. When medical workers from across the country pitched in to support Wuhan in the fight against the epidemic, they offered their services.

Due to the outbreak, they had to cancel the wedding ceremony they had planned at a hotel in Shanghai on February 28.

Yu said that the wedding ceremony was totally unexpected. "The ceremony was simple but very warm," he said. "We work hard every day in the hospital. This is something that makes us feel happy."
