Shen Yueyue, President of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) and Huang Xiaowei, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of the ACWF and Vice-President and First Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF, met representatives of National March 8th Red-banner Pacesetters and National March 8th Red-banner Holders who were invited to participate in National Day celebration activities in Beijing on September 30.

"You led your family members to plant trees for 7,333 hectares in Saihanba (in the border area of the Inner Mongolian Plateau and the mountains in northern Hebei Province) in the past 37 years, which turned the deserted land into forest," said Shen in praise of Chen Yanxian and Niu Yuqin. "The 'green miracle' proves that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets. You should pass on the spirit of Saihanba to the next generation, and help establish a more beautiful China."
"Education is crucial to the nation and the Party. You should make more contributions to China's vocational education and train more technical personnel," Shen said to Xu Yafen, President of Zhejiang Wanli Education Group and Board Chairperson of the University of Nottingham Ningbo China.

Shen highly praised Dong Mingzhu, President of GREE Electric Appliances, Inc. Shen expects Dong, as a representative of the outstanding female entrepreneurs, to play a more important role in the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, leading more young women in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region to realize their value by participating in the construction of the country.
Representatives from medical and legal sectors said that they would help more families and left-behind children in poverty-stricken regions in terms of physical and mental health development.
Huang talked with the women representatives who shared their happiness and joy in participating in the celebration activities of the National Day. She praised their achievements at their post and encouraged them to give full play to their roles, stay true to their original aspiration and mission, and achieve more at their posts in the future.
