Gu Xiulian, Vice-President and First Member of the Secretariat of the ACWF, issued a report entitled "Hold High the Banner of Deng Xiaoping's Theory and Unite Women from All Walks of Life to Work Hard for the Realization of China's Monumental Trans-century Goal." Goals and tasks for Chinese women's development were put forward, calling for greater accomplishments.
