The Global Leaders' Meeting on Women will be held in Beijing from Oct. 13 to 14. Ahead of the meeting, Xinhua News Agency interviewed Gertrude Mongella, secretary-general of the Fourth World Conference on Women.
Mongella emphasized that China's advancements in technology have provided significant opportunities for women to engage in innovation. She called on countries to strengthen cooperation, promote greater participation of women in emerging fields such as the digital economy and artificial intelligence, and achieve common development through knowledge sharing and technological exchange.
