I have high expectations about the upcoming global event. I look forward to seeing China continue to serve as a good example in promoting gender equality, and in empowering women. Hopefully, more world leaders will pay attention to what China has to say.
I have visited China five times during the last two years. Although I had followed the news related to China for a long time, it was only after I had visited here that I realized China's development achievements far exceeded my expectations. It's better to see it yourself than to hear it from others.
I am happy that I have had opportunities to have a true, multidimensional and panoramic view of China. I have visited many places in the country, and I have participated in various activities.
The vitality demonstrated by China's development gives me reason to believe China's economy will continue to maintain stable growth. The development path and policies China has chosen are always based on its national conditions, and they are continuously advanced at China's pace.
In China, I have met with and talked to various women. The conclusion I can make is: Chinese women should serve as an example to women throughout the world.
I can see more and more Chinese women are getting involved in politics, and how women are mothers and, at the same time, successful at having a career. China is doing a lot for women, especially when it comes to education and healthcare.
Every single person in China matters. It's never a matter of gender; it's all about the person, how they are brought up, how they are educated, and how well they are prepared for challenges in their lives.
By showing more successful women in the media, more young girls will dream of becoming successful too, and they will do their best at school, university and work.
