Jingzhou (a city in Central China's Hubei Province) Women's Federation, and the city's human resources and social security department, recently organized several job fairs for college graduates.
More than 300 enterprises in Jingzhou offered more than 7,000 positions, in education, medical care, Internet technologies and the trade sectors, during the fair. More than 2,000 job seekers, about half of whom were women, received job offers.
Prior to each job fair, the women's federation posted a notice, containing information about job positions and the recruiting enterprises, on its social media accounts.
The federation has arranged for human resources professionals to give career guidance and women lawyers to provide consultation services concerning labor-related rights to job seekers.
To help women realize their dreams in career and entrepreneurship, the federation and the College of Arts and Sciences, under Yangtze University, held a career-development salon in May.
Women entrepreneurs shared their personal experiences, and they encouraged women graduates to have a positive attitude toward their career-development opportunities.
