Awards of March 8th Red-Banner Holders

 2020-04-10

The Award for the March 8 Red-Banner Holders, Pacesetters and Collectives has been organized by the All-China Women's Federation since 1960. The award is an honor for exemplary workers or collectives who have made extraordinary achievements in building socialism. The award intends to motivate women to actively participate in social and economic development. "March 8 Red-Banner Holders, Pacesetters and Collectives" is a title for outstanding Chinese women.

The All-China Women's Federation held a selection event for the March 8 Red-Banner Holders, Pacesetters and Collectives for the first time in 1960. The winners were mostly exemplary workers in agriculture or industry.

The All-China Women's Federation holds an award ceremony on March 7, 2011, honoring this year's March 8th National Red-Banner Pacesetters and collectives and outstanding rural women and collectives who have distinguished themselves in the Women of Great Achievements Campaign.
