Farmers in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province are not idle anymore in winter after their fields went frozen.

Just days after the autumn harvest, they started to be busy in various training courses, which help them to increase incomes.

The free training program, launched in 2016, offers farmers training on agricultural and vocational skills, including online sales techniques. In the past five years, over 7,000 farmers have received training thanks to the program.
