The three-day visit also saw the delegation attend the launch of a photo exhibition themed 'A Wonderful Day in the Life of Shanghai Women' at the Tashkent House of Photography on May 30, 2013. Part of a series of cultural exchanges between Chinese and Uzbekistan women, the exhibition featured 132 images of Shanghainese women's daily lives.

"The exhibition presents photographs that document the lives of contemporary Shanghai women and the landscapes and landmarks of Shanghai," said Jiao at the opening ceremony. "We hope that this exhibition will give Uzbek citizens an idea of the contributions that women have made to the development of China."

The exhibition was jointly organized by the Shanghai Women's Federation, Fund Forum, Social Initiatives Support Fund (SISF), Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan, Women's Council and National Breast Cancer Association of Uzbekistan.
