CWU Holds Training Class for New Faculty Members

China Women's University (CWU) offered training for its new faculty members on April 20 to help them engage in the work on campus in a better way.

Wang Jingxia, Vice-President of the CWU, delivered a speech at the training class. She extended a warm welcome and congratulations to the new staff, and introduced the orientation, current situation and characteristics of the CWU. She urged new teachers to complete their fundamental mission of fostering virtue through education, love their work, fulfill their duties with high standards and contribute to the CWU's reform and development.

The contents of the training class included the introduction of the school's management rules, the professional ethics of teachers, social gender consciousness and interpersonal communication.

At the closing of the training class, the attendees watched the video of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the symposium with representatives of faculty members and students as he visited Tsinghua University on April 19. The new teachers vowed to fulfill the task of fostering virtue through education, help cultivate more women talents for the country, pass on positive energy to students, and guide them to work tirelessly for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
