Wuzhishan Women's Federation Sends Piglets to Poverty-stricken Families

To help local poverty-stricken families out of poverty and encourage a livestock breeding program, Wuzhishan Women's Federation gifted 36 piglets valued at 12,600 yuan (U.S. $2,000) to seven representative families in the Maodan Village of Maoyang Township, Wuzhishan City, south China's Hainan Province, last week.

Meanwhile, the federation signed a contract with the local village committee and families involved, ensuring that they raise the young animals correctly.
