A campaign to promote the popularity of collected literary items of family education amongst the public and send fitness equipment to underprivileged residents was officially launched by the Rizhao Women's Federation, the Rizhao Municipal Bureau of Sports and the Rizhao Municipal Office of Civilization at a ceremony held in Rizhao, a city in east China's Shandong Province, on the morning of March 7, 2015 ahead of the 105th anniversary of International Women's Day, on March 8.

At the ceremony, the event's organizing committee presented to attending families calligraphy-adorned banners, which convey positive teachings related to family education, and extended a warm reminder to those in attendance that they were expected to proactively take part in the "Most Beautiful Families" campaign — which aims to recognize model families in the observance of traditional Chinese virtues, social conventions and legal regulations.

These pieces of family education had been collected from the public since this February and aimed to further familiarize local residents with traditional Chinese domestic teaching at current social circumstances.

Meanwhile, local residents also received generous donations of fitness equipment, which they can use to increase their levels of physical exercise and develop a lifestyle more conducive to both a healthy body and a healthy mind.
