Shen thought highly of the role played by women from all walks of life in the Macao SAR in maintaining the prosperity and stability of Macao, and encouraged women and women's organizations there to study Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era and the important statements of General Secretary Xi Jinping on Hong Kong and Macao affairs and on Macao's development.

Shen said the women's organizations should inherit the core values of patriotism and love for Macao, hold high the banner of patriotism, unite women from all walks of life, firmly support the Chief Executive and the SAR government to fully and accurately implement the "one country, two systems" principle, resolutely implement the Constitution and the Basic Law, defend national sovereignty, security, and development interests, and ensure the long-term stability of "one country, two systems" in the SAR.

It is necessary for women's organizations to seize opportunities to promote the appropriately diversified and sustainable economic development in Macao, lead women, especially young women in Macao, to actively integrate into the overall development of the nation, and promote entrepreneurship and innovation in the building of the Belt and Road and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Shen noted.

She pointed out that they need to better safeguard women's rights and interests, promote gender equality and women's all-round development, guide women to further enhance their sense of mission and responsibility and make better use of women's unique role in social and family life, and promote women and children's development in Macao, Shen added.

In addition, Shen emphasized more efforts should be made to increase constitutional and basic law education, education in national conditions, and education in Chinese history and culture for teenagers and children in Macao, enhancing their national awareness and patriotism to support the "one country, two systems."
