C China's Yuzhou City Promotes Development of Jun Porcelain Industry

Jun porcelain is one of the five famous porcelains in ancient China, which is well known for its unique glaze and amazing change of color during the process of firing in kilns.

Jun porcelain making technique, which is originated from Shenhou Town of Yuzhou City, has been listed as a national intangible cultural heritage.

In recent years, Yuzhou City has actively promoted the development of Jun porcelain industry, and explored a new model of Jun porcelain culture protection, inheritance and innovative development.

At present, there are more than 200 Jun porcelain enterprises in Yuzhou City, with an annual output of more than 2.2 million pieces of Jun porcelain. [Photo by Su Xiaoya/Xinhua]
