Art Show Remembers a Great Woman's Patriotic Spirit

ByLin Qi November 21, 2022

He Xiangning (1878-1972) is one of the most influential revolutionaries of 20th-century China. She grew from a girl from a well-to-do family in feudal China to a revolutionary, social activist and advocate of women's rights.

Meanwhile, she was also a gifted and well-trained painter whose works showcased the best of Chinese cultural traditions and also expressed her concerns of nation and people.

The third exhibition of Enduring Fragrance, launched in 2018 to remember He's commitment and accomplishments, is being held at the National Art Museum of China in Beijing, through Nov 24. The show brings together Chinese paintings and oil works to carry on He's spirit.
