Ru porcelain, one of the five famous kinds of porcelains during the Song Dynasty (960-1279) in China, is known for its azure color, light body, filmy grain and gentle textile. Its making technique was once lost. Over the past decades, craftsmen have made great efforts to restore and perfect the technique. Wang Guoqi in Qingliangsi Village of Baofeng County in central China's Henan Province is one of them.
