ACWF Vice-President Stresses Study, Promotion and Implementation of the Spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee

Huang Xiaowei, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group and Vice-President and First Member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), conducted an investigation tour of Beijing on November 18, to promote the spirit of the sixth plenary session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

Huang urged further studying and implementing the spirit of the sixth plenary session, following the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, drawing wisdom and strength from the major achievements and historical experiences of the Party over the past century, and implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi's important speech and the key CPC session in every dimension and phase of women's federation's work.

In enterprises, communities and office buildings, Huang promoted and explained the significance, guiding principles and connotation of the plenary session, and talked with local women about their feelings, experiences and visions, as well as their understanding of the landmark resolution of the plenum.

When visiting two enterprises engaged in new technology and new business forms, Huang encouraged women workers to become builders of the great cause and advocates of civilized social conduct, to strive to pursue their dreams and to contribute to realizing the second centenary goal of building China into a great modern socialist country in all respects.

In two communities of Daxing District, Huang urged the grassroots-level women's federations to implement the people-centered philosophy, focus on the building of family, family education and family traditions, provide services for women and their families as needed, and safeguard the rights and interests of women and children.

Huang communicated with staff members of grassroots-level women's federations, local women and families at a symposium. She stressed having a deep understanding of the significance of the major achievements and historical experiences of the Party over the past century and the spirit of General Secretary Xi's important speech at the session, taking concrete actions to give full play to the role of women's federations, uniting and guiding women to follow the Party's leadership, and greeting the opening of the 20th CPC National Congress with outstanding achievements.
