Mu Hong, Director-General of the Liaison Department of the All-China Women's Federation, was invited to attend the 2021 International Conference on Gender Equality and Corporate Social Responsibility, held in Beijing on October 20, 2021. The event was co-sponsored by the Office for UN Women China and the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to China. Mu delivered a speech at the conference's opening ceremony.
Mu outlined the four-point proposal raised by Chinese President Xi Jinping during the high-level meeting on the 25th anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women, hosted by the General Assembly of the United Nations on October 1, 2020. She explained Chinese Government's policies and measures for advancing gender equality and women's participation in entrepreneurship and innovation. She called for the adherence to the concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind, and for making joint efforts to create a better future for women and for all.
