Zhuomaji has worked as head of the village-stationed working team in Gangcha Village, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Northwest China's Gansu Province since 2018.

Spending more than 200 days on the grassland annually, she has launched a series of poverty alleviation workshops to develop characteristic industries and boost employment for locals.

Responding to a "no garbage" initiative, Zhuomaji launched a "toilet revolution" and courtyard environment evaluation, greatly improving the environment of the village. She also invited doctors from the county to give health lectures to villagers and conduct free screening of cervical and breast cancers for female villagers.

Gangcha has become a beautiful environment-friendly village and fulfilled its poverty-alleviation goal ahead of schedule.

When asked about her wish, Zhuomaji said, "We will continue to make the grassland and the people here more beautiful."
