More than 30 left-behind children whose parents have migrated to other places for work, together with some volunteers, visited a lotus pond that covers an area of 1,000 mu (nearly 66.67 acres) in Pingyuanchi Village, Rugao City, East China's Jiangsu Province, on August 4.
The voluntary service activity organized by Yuanzhuang Community in Rugao is expected to broaden the children's horizon, increase their
knowledge about nature and enrich their summer holiday lives.
