Inner Mongolia Women's Federation recently held a ceremony to launch a care-giving and legal-publicity activity among women and children.

As part of the activity, the federation produced special packages, which contained a booklet on the law on family education promotion, pamphlets on the Civil Code, laws on the protection of minors and anti-domestic violence, and hand-woven scarves, hats and sweaters. The packages were given to 10 families during the ceremony, and those families will send the packages to children across the region during winter vacation.

The federation also presented awards to individuals and collectives that distinguished themselves, in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, in the protection of women and children's rights and interests. It also named two groups as "women volunteer teams for legal publicity of Inner Mongolia."
