The All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) on April 29 launched a publicity and education campaign to greet the upcoming 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Women's federations across the country organized women role models to share stories about their dedication to their posts and ordinary women to talk about changes in their lives, showing how women from all walks of life are forging ahead with high spirits.
In Southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, women lecturers promoted the new thoughts, theories and policies of the Party to local people through self-compiled folk songs.
In Beijing, media groups publicized inspiring stories of women role models in the fields of agriculture, medicine and education via livestreaming and new media platforms.
Women's federations across the country have focused on the theme of greeting the upcoming 20th CPC National Congress and have carried out publicity and educational activities through telling stories in villages and communities, women's homes, and at community service and publicity centers, to guide women and their families to follow the Party's leadership and contribute to embarking on the new journey and making achievements in the new era.
In places like Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, Central China's Hubei Province, Northwest China's Shaanxi Province and South China's Guangdong Province, women role models have played a leading role in publicizing the historic achievements made by the Party and the country and the progress of women's causes since the 18th CPC National Congress, and in sharing their stories of making achievements at their posts.
Meanwhile, women's federations have extended greater concern to underprivileged women and children, and done more practical work to aid women, children and their families.
