Guidebook for COVID-19 Prevention and Control for Maternal and Child Health (Comic Edition) was released recently to popularize the COVID-19 prevention and control measures for maternal and child health in a wider scope.

The guidebook provides scientific, easy-to-understand, and practical instructions for pregnant women and children, integrating texts, comics and audios. It explains in detail how to stay away from the COVID-19 infection and provides preventive and protective information and measures. 

On February 8, China's State Council issued a notice requiring more efforts in the COVID-19 prevention and control for children and pregnant and lying-in women.

In order to implement the guideline of the notice, under the guidance of the Department of Maternal and Child Health of the National Health Commission, the National Center for Women and Children's Health under the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (China CDC) compiled the book and the China Population Publishing House published it.
