Book Interpreting China's Law on Cryptography Published

BEIJING, January 9 (Xinhua) — A book interpreting China's law on cryptography, which took effect on January 1, 2020, has been published to promote publicity and implementation of the new law and enhance public awareness of cryptography security.

The book, published by Law Press, will be available at Xinhua Bookstore outlets across the country from January 15.

It consists of five chapters, focusing on definition, utilization and management of cryptography, interpretation of the provisions of the law and legislative intent of related issues.

China's top legislature adopted the law on cryptography on October 26, 2019.
