Huang Xiaowei, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group, Vice-President and First Member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), led a Communist Party of China (CPC) delegation during its visit to Cote d'Ivoire from December 14 to 17.
The delegation met with representatives of Cote d'Ivoire's Parliament, the Rally of the Houphouëtists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP) and women's and grassroots organizations. The delegation also visited local communities and villages.
The delegation promoted Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and had in-depth discussions with Cote d'Ivoire's representatives on the implementation of the important consensus reached by the State leaders of the two countries. Discussions also focused on the advancement of relations between the two countries and their ruling parties.
The representatives of Cote d'Ivoire expressed their willingness to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Cote d'Ivoire, to deepen political mutual trust and enhance exchanges and cooperation between the parties, women, youth and families, and to promote the development of relations between the two countries.
