Huang Xiaowei, Secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group, Vice-President and First Member of the Secretariat of the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF), led a Communist Party of China (CPC) delegation during its visit to Senegal from December 17 to 19.
The delegation met with representatives of Senegal's High Council of Territorial Collectivities (HCCT), the Alliance for the Republic (APR), women's organizations and women parliamentarians. The two sides exchanged views on deepening relations between the two countries and exchanges among members of relevant parties. While outlining the progress of China-Senegal cooperation projects under the Belt and Road Initiative, the delegation explained Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and Chinese women's development in the new era.
The representatives of Senegal said they are willing to further enhance exchanges and cooperation between the parties and among women, and to advance development of relations between the two countries.
