An exhibition of photographs, by women from Hubei, Sichuan, Shaanxi and Guizhou provinces, was recently held in Wuhan, capital of central China's Hubei Province. Under the guidance of China Association of Women Photographers, the four provinces' women photographers' associations launched the event in 2023. The event has since become a brand that promotes coordinated cultural development of China's central and western regions, and which showcases women's strength in the art of photography.
The works on display recorded the magnificent natural scenery and everyday lives of people, especially women, in the four provinces. The photos also reflected how people inherit intangible cultural heritage and explore modern technologies in the new era. Women of China highlights some of the works, to share the vitality of the provinces with our readers.
