During the past year, the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) has led women's federations at all levels to organize numerous vocational and technical training activities for women from all social sectors nationwide and create tremendous development opportunities for women.
In 2024, the ACWF and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security jointly released an action plan on improving and expanding the quality and capacity of women's domestic services to promote the healthy development of the domestic service industry. Together with four central authorities, the ACWF and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security issued opinions on deepening the professionalization of domestic services, and put forward 10 specific tasks and measures.
Noticeable progress has been made in the further development of women's domestic services. The ACWF has introduced assessment criteria and brand logos for women's domestic service agencies. About 15,800 community-level women's domestic service stations have been built nationwide. Over one million women have received relevant occupational training.
In November 2024, Wenzhou Women's Federation, Wenzhou Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Wenzhou Vocational College of Science and Technology jointly held a five-day training session for women new farmers, which closely aligned with the development direction of agriculture and the development needs of women in the new era. It was one of the concrete efforts to carry out the ACWF's Women Dream Chasers Program.
The ACWF has further implemented the Women's Action for Rural Revitalization, carried out agricultural technology training programs in counties, townships and villages, organized training sessions for women heads of new-type agricultural business entities such as family farms and farmers cooperatives at provincial and municipal levels, and held national training sessions for leading women talents in agriculture in a move to boost rural revitalization.
In 2024, the ACWF cooperated with the Organization Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and other relevant central authorities to hold over 20 training sessions for leading women talents in agriculture nationwide. In addition, the women's federations of all localities organized over 49,000 training sessions, benefiting about 2.57 million women.
"I will dedicate myself to the research and development of reliable and safe pharmaceutical products and do my best to safeguard people's health." "About 80 percent of the scientific researchers in my team are women and we study human brain functions at different altitudes." Attendees shared their work experience at a symposium for high-level women sci-tech talents on September 27, 2024. They also voiced their confidence and resolve to lead a fulfilling life and ascend the peak of science and technology.
Since 2022, the ACWF has organized training sessions for high-level women sci-tech talents on a yearly basis in a drive to actively serve women in science and technology, explore various mechanisms for cultivating women sci-tech talents, and provide support for them to showcase their talents.
